- Develop a written family communication plan that includes important names, cell phones, an evacuation plan and reunion spots in case you are not together when disaster strikes.
- Find the safe spaces in your home and ensure you have the right provisions to 'shelter in place' if needed.
- Put together a "Grab & Go" bag with important documents and other essentials if you need to go to a shelter or safe place other than your home.
- Provide Checklists for important activities such as vehicle readiness & pet evacuation.
